オレもErnie Ballはなじみのある会社だ。高校生の頃、よくここのギター弦を使っていた記憶がある。

しかし"a few unlicensed copies of software"って、どういう経緯でたったそれだけの違法コピーを摘発したのかよくわからない。警告出して、その分の料金を徴収すればいいようなもんだが。あるいは最初から見せしめ目的だったんだろうか。

またアンビュランスチェイサー*1が活躍したのかな、とか思ってしまった。
